100 Web Sites For Fiction Writers by Ty Johnston

100 Web Sites for Fiction Writers by Ty Johnston is full of links to various sites, from blogs to forums to self-publishing sites. There are also links to review sites, although some of them have closed and are just archived. There is also a subscription site or two. Many of the sites contain tons of information on just about every topic on writing.

One site is actually a radio station for writers, with interviews and lots more. Many of the sites listed in the book are must-haves for writers. Some you may already have bookmarked, but there are many that I myself didn’t know. Some of these sites have the potential to make your writing life so much easier, buy putting critical information at your fingertips.

All in all I give 100 Web Sites for Fiction Writers three and a half out of five stars. This book definitely needs an update, but there is still a wealth of information within it.

58 Ways To Leverage The Public Domain For Profit by Steven Chabotte

58 Ways to Leverage the Public Domain for Profit by Steven Chabotte talks about many different ways of using the materials in the public domain for business purposes. As a word of caution, please ensure that the work you desire to use is actually public domain and is not currently under copyright. When in doubt, ask and attribute.

There are more than 58 different ideas in the book, and none of them are truly unethical. Some require more work than others, and each of these ideas can be used to create your own work. There are different resources listed to start you off, and many ideas within each of the 58 sections. There are many different media listed, not just books and articles. Make sure what you are using fits your business and use caution.

I give 58 Ways to Leverage the Public Domain for Profit three out of five stars. Nothing seemed unethical to me, and you can use the numerous ideas to create your own products.

The 7 Mental Secrets of Millionaire Entrepreneurs (Manifest Your Millions) by David Neagle

The 7 Mental Money Secrets of Millionaire Entrepreneurs (Manifest Your Millions Within) was an interesting read. David adds many personal anecdotes to the book of how the secrets worked in his own life. This is a highly motivational book, and well worth more than one read. This book has made it into my motivational book section of my Kindle, so that I can re-read it when necessary.

In The 7 Mental Money Secrets of Millionaire Entrepreneurs (Manifest Your Millions Within) David talks about the Law of Life, and how desires are just stepping stones, with each step being revealed one at a time. He also talks about how there is always a way to fulfill your desire, since you can’t have a desire without there being a way to reach it. There are also other Laws of the universe that he goes in depth with.

As one would expect, there are 7 secrets, with each one building on those that came before. The secrets are Desire, Decision, Belief/Faith in a Higher Power, Love, Personal Responsibility, Will, and Environment and Action. There are action steps and real life examples for each secret, and David goes in depth on each one. This is definitely a book you want to read with a notebook beside you so that notes can be taken.
